Linda Woodhead, and others. MORE INFO / PROGRAM
Centre for Contemporary Religion (CCR) holds international conferences and seminars on a regularly basis, i.e. once or twice a year. Forthcoming conferences will be announced here, but so far we are only at an initial stage for the next one.
Informal lunch meetings are held once a week, focusing on either a subject presented by a centre affiliate or a specific agenda for the centre research staff.
CCR picked up the baton from the Centre for Multireligious Studies at a reception held on Tuesday 17 March 2009 to celebrate the change of name. This event also provided the opportunity to present the Centre's new E-yearbook Religion in Denmark 2009, which is a statistically survey of the current religious situation in Denmark - with commentary, analysis and perspectives.
In 2004, CCR published the monograph Religious Diversity: The book on religion and spirituality in Aarhus, which is now available as a pdf file but, unfortunately, only in Danish.
Abstracts from the book are available on the Pluralism Project website. (coming soon)
Centre for Contemporary Religion is now on Facebook under the category 'study group/academic group'. The group is "open to anyone related to the Centre for Contemporary Religion, Faculty of Theology, Aarhus University: https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=67655448523 (May 2009).
